SINA,() a Chinese Internet company, said its Q1 EPS rose 74% to 33 cents ex items, beating views by 6 cents. Revenue grew 39% to $71 mil. It expects Q2 revenue above views. It climbed 8%.

CTRIP,() an online travel agency, said its Q1 EPS doubled to 27 cents, topping views by 9 cents. Total revenue rose 47% to $52 mil, above views. It expects Q2 revenue to rise 30%, below analysts’ forecasts. It fell 3.5%.

GE () is looking to sell its appliance unit in an auction for $5 bil-$8 bil, according to a published report. It edged up.

LOCKHEED MARTIN, () a defense contractor, won a $197 mil Navy contract. It dipped.
