MANTECH, () which provides IT services to the military, said Q1 EPS gained 46% to 57 cents ex items, meeting views. Revenue jumped 44% to $425 mil, missing views. It edged up.

ITC HOLDINGS, () an operator of power transmission lines, said Q1 EPS rose 36% to 53 cents ex items, topping forecasts by 3 cents. Sales grew 40% to $142 mil, below views. Shares rose.

ITRON, () a maker of automatic meter-reading systems, said Q1 EPS surged 91% to 82 cents, besting views by 12 cents. Revenue leapt 223.5% to $478.5 mil, above views. Itron climbed 5%.

MICROS SYSTEMS, () a maker of information systems for the hospitality industry, said Q3 EPS grew 26% to 34 cents, a penny better than views. Sales rose 18% to $237 mil, above views. It sees ‘08 EPS of $1.32, vs. views of $1.37. Shares fell.

PSYCHIATRIC SOLUTIONS, () a mental health provider, said Q1 EPS rose 39% to 46 cents, beating views by 3 cents. Sales grew 33% to $430 mil. It rose 10%.

BUCYRUS, () a maker of mining gear, announced a 2-for-1 stock split effective May 27.
